With all the hustle, bustle and hype, the holiday season can often blow by without you taking a breath or enjoying it with your best bud.

My merry advice? Get a box of Cheerios, scrounge up a few pipe cleaners and string and bend yourself some candy canes.

These canes may not be the most grand … but this time of year it is all about those moments, right?

Oh yeah, and they are also pretty good to munch.

I am always honored and grateful to be a part of so many milestone celebrations.

In the next few days I will celebrate a milestone of my own as we welcome the newest addition to our family. A new baby is on the way. Soon. Very soon.

But before all that I would just like to say “Thank You” to each and every one of my fabulous clients this year – and their family and friends –  who have held their breath and trusted that I would be there for their big day … big belly and all. Their patience and sense of humor sustained me through a busy and unique season.

We made it!

Also, thank you to all my fellow wedding professionals and their wildly talented ways who lent an extra hand or two all season long. We make a great team.

A special tip of my hat to Emily, Stacey and Jennifer for their unwavering support, thoughtfulness and friendship.

I am proud to be able to share a small part of my life with you, just as you have all shared yours with me.

b merry, baby.

After meeting on the sunny docks of Portland, the bride and groom boarded a beautiful custom-built Hinkley bound for Peaks Island.

The grounds of the TEIA Club were peppered with bright reds, oranges and pinks in the hundreds of tissue paper poms, hand-made pillows and fabulous florals.

A small canon was fired as the couple kissed and the crowd went wild.

Into the September twilight the celebration roared on the banks of the island; no person missed a savory bite nor their turn on the dance floor.

Cheers Katie & Joe! … to you and your first anniversary. May your lives continue to be filled with delectable foods and adoring family and friends. And may the brightness of your day always make you smile.

The Bride carefully planned and created every gorgeous detail of her intimate wedding day.

But she did not plan for the fast and furious stormed that raged over the mountain top.  The wind up-ended the bar, the rain soaked every table, and the hail beat upon the tall windows.

Then “Here Comes the Sun” echoed through the halls.

And the Bride smiled.  Nothing could cloud the day.

The celebration began with wallop … and it has not stopped.

Cheers Christine & Curtis!… to you and your first anniversary. There will be storms, but you know how to weather them well – with spirit and ease.  I will always think of you and remember “it’s all right”.
